Yesterday, Violet the UVD Robot visited Cherry Trees as part of her regular visits to keep the staff and children safe.

Cherry Trees is a charity that provides home-from-home style specialist respite visits for children and young people who have a range of complex disabilities.

Violet disinfected the playroom and other communal areas and was even heard to be perusing the lunch menu – we hope she waited her turn!

The robots have proven to be very popular amongst staff and the children and reassuring for parents.

UVD Robots kill 99.9999% of all viruses and bacteria on surfaces and in the air. One visit from Violet ensures the playrooms and all other rooms are kept free of any traces of COVID-19.

In May, NESA CEO Heath Williams was appointed as the newest Trustee of Cherry Trees. NESA Robotics and Nordic Eye Sales Accelerator is proud to be continuing supporting Cherry Trees in the amazing work that they do for families facing huge challenges.
