Last night, Victoria the NESA UVD Robot at Heathrow Airport made her second appearance on ITV’s Heathrow: Britain’s Busiest Airport.

Implemented by NESA Robotics, Victoria is one of four UV-C Disinfection Robots being used at Heathrow as part of their heightend cleaning methods.

The episode started with Victoria completing one of the nightly disinfections in one of Heathrow’s bathrooms. Operated by cleaning manager Stan, Victoria deep cleaned the bathroom, showing the level of disinfection with special dosimeter stickers. By the end of the disinfection, there is no trace of any bacteria or viruses in the bathroom – even if Victoria accidently sets off the automatic flushes and hand-driers!

UVD Robots kill 99.9999% of all bacteria and viruses on surfaces and in the air, covering vast areas in minutes.

NESA Robotics has worked closely alongside Stan and his team from Mitie and the ISS teams at Heathrow to ensure successful implementation and strong user adoption.

NESA Robotics is proud to be supporting Heathrow and other businesses in keeping their staff and customers safe.
